Using the options in the Filter box on the left, you can filter your results by:
- Viewing results from other university presses
- Restricting your list to recently published books only
- Restricting them to a specific subject (e.g. Neuroscience)
- Viewing only content to which you have full-text access
- Restricting them to a particular year of publication
Expanding your results to UPSO
A search of OSO or one of the partner presses (e.g. University Press of Kentucky) can be expanded to include all results from UPSO. Click the See results from UPSO option.
(Note that, depending on your subscription, not all the titles included may be available for viewing.)
Restricting your results to a single university press
A search of UPSO, can be confined to results from a specific university press by clicking on it in the University Presses box. (To select OSO results, choose Oxford University Press.)
When you do this, the press you have chosen is added to the search terms at the top of the results list:
To revert back to the full Results list, click the next to its name.
To restrict your results to recently published books only, click Recently Published, under Refine Search.
To confine your results to a particular subject area, choose one of subjects listed by clicking on it. You can choose a main subject category, or one of its subcategories. (To switch between viewing and hiding a subject's subcategories, click on the +/- button.)
When you do this, the subject you have chosen is added to the search terms at the top of the results list:
To revert back to the full Results list, click the .
Depending on your subscription, and whether you have included other university presses in your search, you may not have full-text access to all of the books in the results list. To restrict your results to books which you can view in full, select Unlocked. To view titles which are available without a subscription, select the Open Access or Free filters.
To confine your results to those published in a particular year or span of years, choose your start and end date from the drop-down lists and click Submit.
- For a single year (e.g. 2009), the start and end dates should be the same.
