Genesis as Dialogue

Thomas L. Brodie

Oxford University Press

In contrast to some disciplines – for instance, psychiatry and psychology – which sometimes exclude or reduce religion and spirituality, Genesis looks beyond evil and explores the deeper and more positive realms of the spirit. These realms include the story of God and God's Spirit; grace; seeing as God makes one see; second birth; immortality; and transcendence.

Keywords:   God's Spirit, grace, immortality, psychiatry, psychology, second birth, seeing, spirituality, transcendence
