Takes up the topic of the aggadic exegesis of legal traditions in the prophetic literature. The relationship between the law and the prophets and the issue of explicit and implicit reuses of the legal material by the prophets is dealt with. Among the categories treated, with detailed examples, are the exegesis (in the prophets) of cultic laws, with and without formulas of citation and comparison; and the exegesis of civil laws, with and without formulas of citation and comparison. A broad range of bold interpretations are considered, showing the knowledge by the prophets of various legal materials, and the modes and types of their theological reapplication.
