Policies for promoting growth
Policies for promoting growth
This chapter discusses policies for promoting economic growth in the European Union. These policies address two areas: measures to improve policies adopted in the past, and policies that go beyond the complementary policies that have been pursued to date. Some include promoting the entry of new players into the market, increasing investments in education and in research and development, and improving the macroeconomic policy framework of the Economic and Monetary Union.
