Drawing on scientific research and logical argument, this book rejects the idea that findings from cognitive science weaken, if not completely undermine, religious beliefs and practices. It directly confronts claims about an inevitable conflict between science and religion, that religious belief and practice are basically irrational, and that science can and will replace religion.
