This chapter further tests creative insecurity theory by revisiting the cases of success and failure in Israel, Taiwan, Ireland, and Mexico. It uses qualitative case studies of national innovation to corroborate the statistical analyses. It shows how creative insecurity explains S&T success and failure equally well in these very different countries.
