Abstract

This book offers a detailed reading of Dante’s Commedia as theology. What is our relationship to the ground of our being? Dante calls that ultimate reality love, and a key of the Commedia is that it does not take that reality for granted. It reveals that it can only be realized by each reader in a journey of exploration.
