Innovations in Finance and Marketing
Innovations in Finance and Marketing
This chapter explores innovations in financing and marketing used by the leaders of INC Christianity. The chapter begins by describing in detail the financing and marketing methods used by two successful INC groups: Bethel and IHOP. These two cases illustrate the ways in which INC uses the web, multilevel marketing, conferences, and “boot camp” schools to market and finance their operations. The chapter concludes by showing how these methods are enabled by network governance structures and offer significant advantages compared with methods used by most traditionally organized congregations and denominations.
