This chapter discusses the method employed by the review in determining and evaluating all published works that were relevant to the ten questions of the study. In the study presented, the questions were wide ranging and some of the issues were not amenable to experimental crisis. Hence, the review included both qualitative and quantitative research with a wide variety of outcome measures. In this chapter, the methodology of systematic reviews used in the study is discussed and described. Included as well are the criteria and principles used in identifying and appraising literature, the methods of identifying a comprehensive bibliography, the exhaustive assessment of data, the method of data extraction and analysis, the method of data synthesis, and the measures employed to minimised bias.
