This chapter examines the treatment and management of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) in the context of palliative care. It explains that pulmonary TB is an important cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide and that some of the important factors in the failure to control this disease are multidrug resistance and HIV infection. The chapter suggests that a holistic patient and family approach is needed to support pulmonary TB patients through antituberculosis therapy.
