With the emergence of Dignity Therapy, there are still many questions to be answered and opportunities to be embraced. There are a number of challenges facing any program trying to accommodate this novel approach for enhancing end of life experience for patients and families facing death. This final chapter touches on several of these, including the cost and resource implications of Dignity Therapy. There is also the issue of training and how to attain the necessary experience in becoming a competent dignity therapist. There are also many important research questions that need to be examined, further eliciting the role of Dignity Therapy in diverse populations.
