Three Wise Men

(p.165) Chapter Eleven Three Wise Men
Saving the Holy Sepulchre

Raymond Cohen

Oxford University Press

This chapter provides background information on the three men who took charge of the restoration of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in 1964. They are Fathers Daniel Choriatakis, Rock, and Guregh Kapikian. The restoration project involved a practical set of arrangements among the fathers with overlapping interests but without any larger theological dimension. These three men made up the management forum of the Status Quo and they administered the restoration on behalf of their principals until the end.
