This chapter examines the work of Jeanine Tesori. It begins with an extended commentary of his career, followed by details on productions, with data and song information. Tesori started her musical training as a child, and, while still a student at Barnard College (in Manhattan), prepared for a career as musical director and arranger. After touring with a road production of Big River (Notables: April 25, 1985), she began a longtime job producing and arranging CDs for the educational publishers Silver Burdett Ginn.
