This chapter discusses the rebellions that occurred during the Tudor reign, most specifically those two rebellions that occurred in Tudor East Anglia. The discussion also includes a clear definition of ‘rebellions’ and ‘protests’. The two rebellions that are discussed in this chapter are the 1570 Norfolk rising and the 1553 coup launched by Queen Mary I.
