The Daghūghiyyūn Sharīfs and Scholars of the Family of al-Ḥājj Settle in the Central Sahara
This chapter discusses the important influence of the Sharīfian Daghūghiyyūn amongst the Sūfīs of the Central Sahara in the late medieval period. One of the scholars, al-Hājj Abū'l-Hudā al-Sūqī, was amongst the chief followers of Sī Mahmū. Also, two extracts from his writings appear as quotations in the very heart of the text of the Qudwa.
