This chapter briefly lists some of the fields where Procrustes analysis can be applied. These include personality/psychology factor analysis, sensory analysis, market research, and shape analysis. In moving into new application areas, new considerations call for new developments and new methodology. Areas where new methodology is currently being developed or where we see a clear need for further work are highlighted.
