This chapter discusses the syntactic behaviour of the most relevant nominal-phrase internal constituents and structures: determiners (the definite and indefinite articles, demonstratives, the determiner cel, alternative and identity determiners) and polydefinite structures, analytic and synthetic means of expressing the genitive, the syntax of partitive phrase, pronominal possession (possessive adjectives and affixes and adnominal possessive clitics), (numerical and non-numerical) quantifiers (cardinal and ordinal numerals; distributive, collective, multiplicative and fractional numerical expressions; pronominal, noun, and null quantifiers), (restrictive and non-restrictive) modifiers, appositions and nominal classifiers, nominalizations, the licensing of nominal ellipsis, and nominal intensifiers.
