Logos and Mystery
Logos and Mystery
This chapter explores the competing pressures both within the history of Christianity and outside of it to move in two quite different directions: towards definition and containment in words on the one hand, and on the other towards mystery and what might almost be described as inexhaustibility. It begins by examining the creative possibilities inherent in both Logos and Kabbalah. It then discusses the sacraments.
