My Rights: But Whose Duties?
My Rights: But Whose Duties?
This chapter addresses the question of who bears the duty correlative to a human right. It discusses primary duties correlative to a human right, defined as the duties with the same content as the related rights; and secondary duties — those more loosely connected to human rights. AIDS in Africa is used as an example to show further how hard it can sometimes be to identify the duty-ower.
