Individual encounters of several countries in the 1980s and 1990s are examined to elaborate such inquiries. Attention to specific details is oriented to the economic policymaking frameworks and the transition economies of France, Greece, Spain, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Sweden, Austria, and Poland.
