This is a book about Spinoza’s metaphysics of Nature, why it is absolutely infinite, why it is divine, and why everything that is—man included—is in and of Nature. The book urges to put away Spinoza’s own deductive machinery whose ’model theory’ distracts us away from the intended structure to be described—Nature. And the structure unfolds not by following Spinoza linearly from part I of his Ethics down to part V, but rather by starting with his intuitive indications of what his subject matter is—in two key letters and in part V of his Ethics.
