This chapter employs the mathematical apparatus developed in Chapter 4 to present several sets of axioms supposed to govern quantum field theory in Minkowski spacetime, quantum field theory in curved spacetime, as well as quantum statistical mechanics. It also reviews and comments on work, conducted in the framework of axiomatic algebraic quantum field theory, on the problems of non-locality and entanglement.
