Brief Interventions with Bereaved Children

Rosie Nicol-harper

Oxford University Press

This chapter highlights several issues, challenges, and joys that are encountered when using volunteers to provide bereavement support to children. The discussion takes information from the available literature as well as practical experiences gained by one organization. The discussion aims to show that there is no ‘one size fits all’ policy for using volunteers while providing emphasis on the richness that volunteers bring.
