This chapter reviews recent fiscal developments in Zambia. It then describes how fiscal policy instruments could help strengthen Zambia’s prospects for higher growth and poverty reduction. A variety of options exist for Zambia to increase fiscal space, create greater public sector efficiency, and improve transparency and accountability.
