The conclusion of the book draws together the themes of the chapters and offers an overall analysis of the Conservative Party in the inter-war period. Two main aspects are explored: the basis of Conservative electoral success in the inter-war period, and the ways in which the cultural values and social support for the Party contributed to its cohesion and effective appeal to the public.
