In Chapter 24, we prove continuous dependence of the solution on the initial data (in the geometric setting). Prior to the statement, we fix notation and conventions. Since we are comparing solutions defined on different manifolds, it is necessary to define appropriate diffeomorphisms in order to be allowed to make the comparison.
