Developing countries are adopting bioethical norms into systems of research regulation. Unfortunately, some societies are not always well-versed in bioethical regulations. The bioethical regulation system in the Korean society is examined to understand the motives behind this adoption. Appropriate methods for global collaboration are proposed.
