A Priori Testimony Revisited
In previous work, Malmgren critically examined Burge’s case for the thesis that there’s a priori knowledge by testimony. Neta has recently defended Burge against one of Malmgren’s key objections. In this chapter, she responds to Neta, further explores another strand of her original criticism, and evaluates the prospects for vindicating Burge’s thesis in a quite different way—with appeal to a ‘fast track’ model of testimony.
