Effectiveness
Effectiveness
This chapter explores some of the effectiveness indicators of the institutions studied. One major goal of this study was to examine the effects of different OLCs on multiple indicators of effectiveness. The chapter reviews effects on the students in the institutions as well as the institutions themselves. Some major questions include: Are these colleges able to maintain or improve on the quality of students or faculty admitted to the institution? How are the colleges evaluated on the quality of their educational processes? What happens after students graduate? How are they placed in work organizations or graduate schools? How do differences in OLCs affect the answers to these questions and other questions? Where do differences in OLCs have a significant effect, and where do they not have an effect?
