(p.3) Introduction
The True Wealth of Nations

Daniel K. Finn (Contributor Webpage)

Oxford University Press

This introductory chapter begins with a description of the “True Wealth of Nations” research project. This volume resulted from an international conference sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies, held at the University of Southern California in June 2008. The conference focused on a fundamental assertion of the True Wealth of Nations research project: that the economic and cultural criteria identified in the tradition of Catholic social thought provide an effective path to sustainable prosperity for all. An overview of the subsequent chapter is presented.
