This chapter examines Croat reactions to Milošević's trial and death. It argues that the trial was deployed and co-opted by national elites to reinforce narratives about the justice of Croatia's Homeland War. Ultimately, the Milošević trial left a widespread sense of disappointment with both that trial's process and other, related trials concerning crimes committed during the 1991–1995 war.
