This epilogue assesses the progress of financial reform two years after the eruption of the subprime crisis in 2008. It shows that Obama administration attained a landmark achievement with the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act. However, it remains to be seen whether federal regulators will use their newfound powers to protect the financial system and consumers or cater to the financial industry.
