This chapter describes the Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard (WIWB), an innovative classroom presentation device that is interactive and versatile and encourages active student involvement in the learning process. The WIWB is designed for use across disciplines within higher education. The chapter first reviews the history of interactive whiteboards (IWBs) and their use in college classrooms. It then describes the innovative functions of the WIWB and provides suggestions for the successful implementation of WIWBs in college courses.
