But What About that Gigantic Elephant in the Room?
Albert Bandura describes his most underappreciated work: a paper on behaviorism. Bandura's research focused on the determinants of observational learning and the mechanisms through which it operates. He identified four constituent processes governing social modeling through observational learning: attentional processes, representational processes, translational processes, and motivational processes. He also explored social cognitive theory and the contentious dualisms in social psychology pitting individualism against collectivism, autonomy against interdependence, agency against communion, and social structure against personal agency.
